Lamar Jackson Has That Dream Again Where He’s In The Stands And Mahomes Goes Down And The Chiefs Need A Quarterback

Speaking to reporters on a Zoom call from the bed where he had just awoken drenched in sweat, Ravens superstar Lamar Jackson confirmed that he had once again had that “crazy dream” where Patrick Mahomes has a career-ending injury, and Andy Reid calls out to the stands begging anyone capable of winning the Super Bowl for the Chiefs to step forward and be the hero America needs.

“Sometimes Pat snaps all 4 of his cruciate ligaments, sometimes he enters concussion protocol with a severed head, but eventually it all leads to coach Reid pointing at me and calling me down from the bleachers, sitting me on the bench and saying, ‘Lamar, we all need you. The world needs you,’” stated Jackson, who mentioned this was his eighth time having the Mahomes dream since losing to the Chiefs in the AFC conference championship in January. “Then I look over to Pat and he’s like, ‘You got this, Lamar. I may never walk again, but we all know you’re way better than me anyways. And not just at scrambling, but at throwing and reading defense, too.’ And then I nod and put on a helmet.”

Jackson went on to describe events that happened further in the recurring dream, including moments where he runs 99 yards and jukes out every single defender to score the game-winning touchdown, a 5-minute window where he is allowed to blissfully stay in the pocket with zero pass rush, and Taylor Swift openly declaring her love for him while Travis Kelce looks on and gives him a giant thumbs-up.

“I don’t know why it’s always this one, specific dream that keeps happening,” concluded Jackson. “It’s like my subconscious keeps trying to tell me something over and over again.”

Jackson, ignoring the deeper subconscious meaning, immediately excused himself from the call, stating that he had to go to the drugstore to get some CBD, melatonin, and Nyquil so he could fall back asleep as soon as possible.
