Andy Reid Out 2-4 Weeks With Chicken Tenderitis
Shocking news out of the Kansas City Chiefs’ organization this morning. Head coach Andy Reid has announced he’s on injured reserve with a 3-4 week expected recovery time with the dreaded injury Chicken Tenderitis.
“It’s the achilles tear of coaching,” said former coach Wade Phillips, “some coaches can come back from such an injury but are never the same.”
“My thoughts and prayers are with his family,” Patrick Mahomes said to a room full of local and national reporters. “With surgery expected as early as tomorrow we’re all hoping for a speedy recovery.”
Although not as common as the 80’s and 90’s NFL Insider statistics show that the tragic injury is still plaguing head coaches across the league, lastly ending Freddy Kitchens reign in Cleveland.
