Deion Sanders Not Interested In Browns Job Due To Messy Quarterback Situation

Since becoming head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, Deion Sanders has been eyeing an upgrade to the NFL. Now that a clear opportunity has presented itself in the Cleveland Browns, Sanders has made his stance clear — “Hard no.”

“If someone said I had to take on that quarterback room – shoot, ain’t no savin’ them,” admitted the Hall of Famer. “I can’t be embarrassed of my quarterback(s).”

With a carousel of passers starting on the roster this season, the two-time Super Bowl champion doesn’t appear willing to roll with any one-trick ponies.

“Lord, these Browns ‘quarterbacks’ are beyond training. The Haslams oughta make the Dawg Pound a kill shelter,” suggested a disgusted Sanders. “I’ll take being silently blackballed for another 20 years than deal with this group of quarterback-nothings.”

Despite the harsh criticisms, the former six time All-Pro believes one of his own could bring the Browns to glory.

“You know who should be leading this offense? My son, Shilo,” suggested Deion. “He’s never played a snap at quarterback, but that’s where the bar is. However that being said,” Sanders thought intently, “ couldn’t do that to any beloved child of mine.”
