Dodger Stadium Begins $15 ‘Just the Foam’ Beer Special
Los Angeles is not an economically easy city to live in, and the Dodgers know that. That is why our Boys in Blue have introduced a new beer special so you can focus on yelling at your son that Shohei Ohtani is the thing that makes you proudest to live in LA and forget those increasing egg prices, unaffordable rent, and $19 strawberries. To make these days just a tad more affordable, Dodger Stadium is now offering a new $15 beer special where you can fill up your glass entirely with foam.
“One day I got lost in the stadium and ended up amongst the undesirables in unboxed seats at the stadium. I watched one of our concession stands remove a keg that was pouring out only foam and I realized the help needed to be fired. But then I also thought that I can offer this ‘foam’ to the poor undesirables I see wandering the stadium grounds” said Dodgers owner Mark Walter, “when I pitched this idea to my board, someone suggested we also pour our resources into a souvenir cup, which would have cost us an extra $0.79 to make. I traded his ass to the A’s.”
The Dodgers Stadium goers’ response to the new special has been mixed.
“On one hand, not as much alcohol as what’s in the non-special regular beer. But on the other, I can now afford driving back home from the stadium,” said Roy Hart, 35 and who just started following the team.
This new beer special follows in a slew of other Mark Walter-penned ideas to make the stadium experience seem just a little more affordable, such as $200 ticket prices that are all service fees and no game action, $30 parking passes for places you are not allowed to park, $60 for blue hats that don’t have the Dodgers logo.
