Returning ‘FOX NFL Sunday’ Staff Horrified To Realize They Left Gronk In Studio All Alone With The Lights Off

It had been over seven months since the Fox NFL Sunday hosts walked out of the studio doors following the completion of the ‘25-’26 season. So when Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Curt Menefee, and Jay Glazer arrived to kick off coverage of the new season, they were stunned to realize they had left behind poor Rob Gronkowski all alone in the dark since February.

 “I was just sitting there playing with my paper clips after the show ended. Then the lights went out and it got very darky,” stuttered Gronkowski through tears. “I thought they had maybe tucked me in and put me to sleep like at the end of every Sunday. But then I remembered that Terry didn’t help me put on my jammies or sing me my night-night song like usual.”

 Michael Strahan shook his head sadly. “There were bite marks on all the desks, scratches on the inside of the doors, his coat was matted. He was a mess. Poor little guy needs a visit to the groomer and a whole lot of cuddle lap time.”

 “It’s all my fault,” said Jay Glazer dejectedly. “It’s my job to wave the ribbon in front of him and get him to chase it to the doors. We call it “Bye-Bye Gronk Gronk”. It’s literally the only way Rob gets home every Sunday.”

 Gronkowski held up a football with eyes drawn on it. “It wasn’t so bad,” he said. “I made a brand new friend and we played together a lot. His name is Tom.”
