Joe Burrow Welcomes Joe Flacco to Cincinnati by Pointing Out Area’s Best Hospitals

When Joe Flacco arrived in Cincinnati, he received nothing short of a hero’s welcome. To show his brother-in-arms love, current injured Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has graciously driven Mr. Flacco around the city to introduce him to the most important places a quarterback in Cincinnati should know: the area’s best hospitals.

“Flac-man, you gotta see Dr. Spielman for when your leg ends up behind your head,” said Joe Cool, sunglasses adorned, windows down in his Acura NSX, pointing squarely at Mercy Health, “For real, he’ll give you an IV drip that’ll make a torn ACL feel like a mere patella contusion.”

Flacco was happy to shake hands with all the local doctors and nursing staff as Burrow drove him to all of his favorite Cincinnati spots like St. Elizabeth Edgewood, St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas, and even St. Elizabeth Convington.

“It was really an honor to meet such great health professionals, but every time I ask [Burrow] to show me a great spot to eat or something, he just brings me to another surgical ward swearing I won’t need solid food,” said Flacco, “I don’t really know anything fun to do around here, where I can bring my kids, I don’t know where I’m really staying either. Heck, I’m playing soon and I don’t even know where the stadium is.”

When Flacco had inquired to Burrow about Cincinnati having a zoo, Burrow cocked his head back and laughed. 

“Oh yeah! You’re thinking of Good Samaritan Hospital in Western Ridge. Absolute mad house on weekends!”

Flacco did note that this wasn’t all that different from when he first arrived in Cleveland and Deshaun Watson drove him around to all his favorite police stations.
