Mid-40s White Guys Launching Sports Podcast Hoping to Tap Into Lucrative And Untapped Mid-40s White Guys Who Listen to Sports Podcasts Market

Capitalizing on the noticeable absence of hard-hitting white male commentary, a pair of mid-40s Caucasian men have decided to launch a revolutionary sports talk podcast strategically catered to other middle-aged men who enjoy sports podcasts.

“Our podcast is primarily aimed at white men over 40 who crave highly-relevant, informed, and sought after opinions on sports from other white men, which we provide while drinking a few beers and joking around in the garage, but we really want to invite any white man to listen,” said co-host Brad Jones, adding that he and friend Bill Galloway developed the idea while listening to a sports podcast rank the sexiest cheerleaders. “We thought to ourselves, ‘What if we did something totally original and made a sports podcast for white men in their 40s?’”

With four-hour-long episodes covering obscure topics such as what venues have the best food and beer combinations, which players are the best at putting their heads down and getting the job done, and what painfully obvious trades every team should make, Jones knows the podcast will send shockwaves through the media landscape when it drops.

“We’re leading the way for a historically underserved demographic,” he said. “With any luck, one day white men of all ages will finally feel represented in the world of sports and sports media.”
