NBA Ref Accidentally Activates ‘Big Head Mode’ Moments Before Tip-Off

As players from the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns lined up before tip-off last night, NBA referee Ron Kitzrow accidentally activated Big Head Mode by simultaneously pressing up, turbo, and steal, causing players from both teams to have their once-normal heads balloon to the size of their still-normal torsos.

“I immediately realized how serious the situation was when I saw Rudy Gobert’s head hit the backboard,” said Kitzrow, who requested that players return to the bench while ball boys sweep their tattered headbands off the court. “Luckily, the players didn’t seem to mind the transformation at all. Some of them even started using their heads to block shots.”

In addition to their new hulking craniums, Kitzrow theorizes the mutation may have enlarged the athletes’ brains as well, vastly increasing their basketball intelligence to a level once believed to be impossible.

“It was like they were seeing the game in a totally different way. Although, that may simply be due to their frying pan-sized eyes.”

Following the game, Kitzrow attempted to use a different code to shrink the players’ heads but only succeeded in setting everyone in the stadium on fire.
