Titans Pay Tribute to Titan Submersible By Also Imploding at Lowest Point

Over two years since the nation was gripped by the Titan submersible disappearing while on a voyage to the Titanic, the Tennessee Titans have become a moving tribute to this disaster by imploding at its lowest depth and instantly killing the careers of everyone involved. 

“We’ve bounced around ideas to pay tribute to the submersible, whether that was cutting corners in firing Mike Vrabel, Brian Callahan, or continuing to start Will Levis even though people warned us it was a disaster waiting to happen,” said GM Mike Borgonzi, “soon enough, we plan to have Callahan’s replacement coach the team with an Xbox controller.”

Many fans aren’t sure whether or not the submersible tribute is a recent development or part of the Tennessee Titans team lore. Recently, the Week 3 blowout loss to the Colts showcased to fans this team’s propensity to instantly buckle, while ruining Vince Young and trading AJ Brown years ago had people declaring the organization dead in the water.

Director James Cameron has already expressed interest in visiting the Titans for an upcoming documentary in which he plans to digitally reconstruct the disaster that lay fathoms below NFL standards. 

“You would think the people who get on board with the Titans would look at the original wreckage of the Houston Oilers and know the doom that lies ahead,” said Borgonzi.

Despite all of this, owner Amy Adams Strunk would like everyone to know how different this is from the annual tribute the New York Jets pay to 9/11, in which the team is a national tragedy during September.
