10 People Who Might Play in the NFL This Year

As NFL teams are faced with tough decisions at the end of training camp, there are clear roster battles unfolding across the league. With multiple GMs on the hot seat, let’s take a look at 10 people who might actually play in the NFL this year.

Aaron Rodgers

While we think he’ll suit up this year, there is a strong sense that he’s a good quarterback, and a team will want him to play football.

JJ Watt

Watt signed a contract with the Arizona Cardinals worth $31 Million at one point. So, if he wants to earn a living, he’ll play this year. So if we were to guess, Watt might show up. Sources tell us that you only make that money if you play games.

Tim Tebow

This is Tebow’s first attempt to to make an NFL roster since 2012, which you think would make him closer to a “maybe” than a “might”. Unfortunately after being cut from the Jags, Tim will be playing in the NFL this year, but only in his mind.

Jim Brown

The former Browns running back has been in the “might” category since he retired in 1966, but as Tim Tebow has shown, anyone can make a roster even if they’ve been out for a while. Look for Brown to maybe suit up for an NFL team.

Lionel Messi

We did a quick Google search for “best football player in the world,” and this Messi guy popped up. It’s honestly shocking a team hasn’t done the same and signed the best football player in the world for a contract. Look for that to change next season.

Kevin Garnett

He was so good! Some GM has to have seen game footage of Garnett. A big tall guy like that has to be a stud wide receiver.

Daniel Day-Lewis

The method actor of our generation–who’s to say he hasn’t been playing the part of Tom Brady for the last 20 years?

Our Neighbor Kyle

Kyle, a prospect living right next door to us, has a bench and a squat rack in his garage. This is a clear indicator of a man ready for the start of the NFL season. We think he has a Bengles poster on his wall too. Maybe he already plays for them?

Angela Merkel

Merkel has decided not to seek a fifth term as German Chancellor. Sources close to her indicate this will free her up for next NFL season.

Zach Wilson

He will ABSOLUTELY not be in the NFL this season. Sure, he was just drafted, but have you looked at that face? No one that Mormon-y can make it in the NFL.

This concludes everyone who might play in the NFL this year. Research suggests there might be more than 10 active players in the NFL, but that has come back inconclusive.
