A-Rod Signs Lucrative 10-Year Contract With J. Lo

Twenty years after signing his record-breaking contract with the Yankees, Alex Rodriguez has just signed an even more lucrative deal, inking a massive 10-year deal with J. Lo with no opt-out clause.

Per J. Lo policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Experts believe J. Lo’s lack of salary cap, as well as her team’s search for a marquee name led to the signing of A-Rod, a free agent since leaving Cynthia Scurtis in 2008.

Before pursuing A-Rod, sources report J. Lo was in talks with Mookie Betts, Aaron Judge, and JD Martinez, but A-Rod was the best fit for the structured backend because he could be the next Marc Anthony.

“For the next ten years, A-Rod will be a fabulous addition to our team. Given the strong core of my children, this should really push the family into championship contention,” said J. Lo, adding that she expects her team to beat Chrissy Teigen and John Legend this year.

Experts believe A-Rod was able to strike such a record-breaking deal by flirting with Shakira at the Super Bowl, despite his somewhat low batting average. As part of his contract, A-Rod agreed to fly with the team, take part in workout videos for the team’s social pages, as well as be the face of media appearances for the team.

Controversy still follows A-Rod, as marriage analysts are eager to see if this contract with the Lopez family will be marred by another performance enhancing drug scandal.
