Bass Pro Shop Widens Offerings To Bass Amateurs
Do you have a hungry desire to see a fish dead, but you’re not “good” at fishing? Fear not! Outdoor recreation retail giant Bass Pro Shop widened its offerings today to bass amateurs this past Tuesday in an effort to capture the entire bass market, selling goods spanning the range of all bass proficiencies.
With the company’s new offerings, Sohosky’s marketing team hopes to attract rookie fishermen who have limited knowledge of professional gear, but still enjoy killing fish. “Whether you’re a seasoned expert who puts bait on the hook of your fishing pole,” Sohosky said, “or a newbie that throws rocks at fish, we’ve got something for you.”
To accommodate the expanded market, Bass Pro Shop has added new product sections called “Sticks ‘N String,” “Pointy Stuff,” “Stones,” “Fish Trickers” as well as a “Bait” section that encourages sampling. “If you’re an amateur, you’ll be able to find everything you need here—without being intimidated by the jargon of pros like ‘bobber,’ ‘rod,’ or ‘fishing,’” Sohosky said.
Sohosky concluded the ceremony by adding, “Pros and amateurs alike know there’s no right way to fish. As long as someone wants a fish dead, we’ll make sure it happens!”
