Genius Comedian, Provocateur Calls Sports “Sportsball”

Stand-up comic Jake Tauer absolutely skewered the wild world of sports during his set Saturday night when he referred to all athletic competitions as “sportsball.”

The ever-enlightened social satirist completely slayed the audience after reportedly joking, “Hey, you guys see that great sportsball match last night? Those muscleathletes really scored a lot of pointgoals last night.”

Club owner Anton McBride reported he’s “never seen the crowd so riled up. Making fun of the concept of using your body for games? Brilliant. This guy is going places.”

While still chuckling about the notion that all sports are exactly the same regardless of nuance, rules, or equipment, McBride confirmed that in all his years in the comedy business, he has “never heard a joke so edgy or pointed as to attack the most popular form of entertainment in the history of the world—let alone with such wit!”

Comedy insiders confirmed that Tauer’s fresh take on an aspect of pop culture he knows nothing about is exactly why he has all the makings of the next Pryor, Carlin, or Bruce.
