Gronk Reveals Mount Rushmore of Dinosaurs
In this day and age, everyone seems to be creating and debating their own sports Mount Rushmores. So unsurprisingly, former NFL player and current Fox NFL Sunday cohost, Rob Gronkowski, decided to get in on the action and announce his own Mount Rushmore of dinosaurs.
“Since Mount Rushmore was built during the dinosaurs, how smart is it to do a Mount Rushmore of dinosaurs?” Gronk began in a surprise Fox NFL Sunday segment that diverted wildly from discussing the upcoming match between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears, “it’s your classic Mount Rushmore featuring 23 of my favorite dinosaurs.
The six hour segment included actual dinosaurs such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex and “flying pointy faces” (we believe he meant Pterodactyls), the entire dinosaur-based movie franchise “Jurassic Park,” former Head Coach Bill Belichick, nachos, at least ten of the Muppets, and Gronkowski’s “ride or die homie, Smitty, the ultimate dino-bro.”
When fellow co-host Jimmy Johnson tried to correct Gronkowski that Mount Rushmores feature only four heads, Gronkowski responded with “ok so mine is 20 times bigger than that! That’s gotta make is the greatest Mount Rushmore!”
Gronk ended his segment by announcing all the “winners” were invited to “the sickest after-Mount Rushmore party on [his] yacht.”
Co-host Terry Bradshaw was visibly moved by the entire segment and stood up to announce that he will be creating his own segment “the Statue of Liberty of Fritos.”
