It’s game time and we were told this is a big game. 

The play-by-play and color commentary guys are not Bob Costas, we’re gonna have to call foul and say that this is not the important game we were led on to believe it was.

Costas has called or been a part of the NBA Finals, NASCAR, the Masters, boxing, the Kentucky Derby, and the World Series all in the same day. Wherever you turned there was Bob Costas and that’s what gave that game credibility, if it was in fact a “big” game, unlike this one that is Costas-less.

Also, who the hell is Joe Buck? Not Bob Costas, that’s who.

Despite this game ultimately going into triple overtime, and 100,000 people in the stadium wouldn’t stop screaming, we can all see through the veil. All the pomp and circumstance can’t hide one thing: this game isn’t a big deal, because if it was, Bob Costas would tell us it was.
