Linebacker Doesn’t Know It Yet, But He’s About To Tackle The Love Of His Life

Alabama captain, James Quinn has it all: good looks, football stardom, and tons of adoring fans; the one thing missing is someone to share it all with, but that is about to change because unbeknownst to him, Quinn is about to tackle the love of his life. 

Meet Tim Klike, Ohio State’s quirky quarterback who loves having fun almost as much as he loves winning. But his life is about to change when a hunky linebacker sacks him, taking the ball and his breath away.  

“I’m okay just got the wind knocked out of me,” said Klike while slightly smiling and glancing over at the opposing sideline, “I can’t wait to get back out there and make out, up, I mean up. Make up for that turnover.”

This was Quinn’s tenth sack of the season, but as he explains, this wasn’t like the others, “I don’t know, something was just different this time. It’s like I wasn’t tackling for fun anymore, now I was tackling for love.” 

Unfortunately for these two star-crossed players, only one team could win, and when Quinn came out on top he was forced to decide between playing in the National Championship and a shot at true love. “I choose the National Championship,” said Quinn explaining, “I mean he’s a Buckeye, I’m Roll Tide, it could never work. Plus, you know, it’s the National Championship.” 

UPDATE: Quinn, who already solidified his 1st Round NFL status mysteriously didn’t return for the second half of the National Championship, was reportedly seen in full pads talking to White at the top of the Empire State building, where witnesses say, “He and [Quinn] talked for a long time, they both shed a few tears, and then embraced.” Adding, “they had a happily ever after vibe just before [Quinn] aggressively sacked him.”
