Monster Truck Effortlessly Wins Daytona 500

A rookie monster truck took the checkered flag after destroying all the other cars during the first lap of this year’s Daytona 500. The Bass Pro Shop No. 47 truck was the last vehicle standing in a breathtaking race that saw a record 60 caution flags.

While driver Jimmy Frank’s No. 47 car was unable to crush every rival car immediately, he reversed to pulverize any remaining cars, sending drivers scrambling for safety.

“My pit crew was just outstanding today,” said Monster Truck Driver Jimmy Frank, whose crew only took 25 minutes per stop, the team’s personal record. “We’re thrilled it took just nine hours to finish the race.”

“He even crushed the emergency response vehicles in the infield,” said lifelong fan Billy Steven Jones. “By far the best driving I’ve ever seen.”

Jones, along with thousands of other fans, then waited for hours in the parking lot hoping the behemoth truck would crush their cars too.

Following the race’s conclusion, NASCAR awarded the Bass Pro Truck with The Monster Energy NASCAR Championship after declaring every other car unfit to compete for the rest of the year.
