Robert Saleh Meeting with Cam Ward Weekly to Make Sure He’s Not Aaron Rodgers

When Robert Saleh first arrived in Tennessee, he watched QB Cam Ward roll to his right and launch a 60 yard bomb, hitting his receiver in stride. After being impressed, Saleh could not shake the feeling of familiarity with that play. This has led Robert Saleh to meet with Cam Ward each week to discuss the possibility of him secretly being former Jets QB Aaron Rodgers.

“I get called into the office and [Saleh] just gives me a death stare straight in the eyes for forty-five minutes before demanding to see a picture of my wife on our wedding day,” said Ward, “I keep thinking we’re going to watch practice tape, but then he just shows me a Pat McAfee, Aaron Rodgers ayahuasca interview to see if I ‘remember the journey.’”

Saleh remains convinced that he is working with the same QB that presumably got him canned in New York. In a press conference, he kept referring to Ward as ‘Aaron’ and when a reporter corrected him on the error, specifically noting that Cam is a black man who attended the University of Miami, Saleh retorted “That’s exactly what Aaron would say!”

At one point during practice, Ward fell down after a play went awry and clutched his knee for a bit. Rather than attending to his QB, Saleh just ran towards the locker room screaming “it’s him! It’s him!”

In a similar vein, offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has also been having meetings with Ward to confirm that he is not, in fact, Daniel Jones.
