Analysts Say Team Can Avoid Elimination by Winning Game
With the big matchup just days away, leading sports analysts have clearly done their homework because they are confidently telling viewers that one of the teams can avoid elimination by winning the game.
“Every team is terrified of being eliminated, and every year the goal of the season is to hang on and not be eliminated,” an analyst said, “and after hours of reviewing video, planning plays, conducting workouts, it’s clear that if they just win, they won’t be eliminated.”
One of the teams involved in this upcoming game didn’t win in the past, and, as a result, the analyst said, they lost.
“Both teams will go home to their loved ones no matter what, but if you’re not eliminated, you advance to the next game, which is played for a previously scheduled future date,” another analyst added.
And math is on their side. A recent study by Cambridge University found that it didn’t matter if a team won by one or two, but if they won by zero, they actually didn’t win. Consequently, their chances of being eliminated actually jump by 300%. Vegas oddsmakers agree, noting that the winning team has a 100% chance of not being eliminated.
One thing is for sure though: the team that gets eliminated by losing the game to the winning team that won the game must work harder in the offseason and practice winning more.
