Caitlin Clark Rookie of the Year Trophy Chucked At Her Head

Shortly before being knocked unconscious, Caitlin Clark was awarded and then thrown the prestigious WNBA Rookie of the Year award, on Wednesday.

“It’s an honor,” Clark said while still visibly dazed after coming-to via smelling salts and several wake-up-slaps from other players. “It’s been my dream to help take women’s basketball to the next level. Let’s do this together – thank you.”

Clark left the podium to a standing ovation of ‘Boos!’ before being struck in the leg from a rafters sniper.

While Clark is expected to make a full recovery, Angel Reese outed herself on her podcast as the markswoman responsible and already being labeled a hero within the WNBA crowd.
