What You Can Do To Support Caleb Williams During This Difficult Time

The NFL Draft is complete despite an unfathomable tragedy that befell a highly touted Heisman Trophy winner with promise. Much to the horror and dismay of the country, USC’s own, Caleb Williams, was drafted by the Chicago Bears. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have reached out to Sports Riot asking what they can do to support Williams during this trying and difficult time. Here’s how you can help:

We are humbly asking for donations to our charity “Thoughts and Bears,” a foundation dedicated to educating and helping the community to the harmful effects of being taken by the Bears. While a cure is not yet scientifically possible, our doctors and counselors work endless hours with each ex-Bear in the hopes that they develop new interests, forget about the football team that ruined their dream, and hopefully might find the will to continue to live. All donations can be sent to AnotherDeadBear@gmail.com.

“With enough time, money, and rejection of all things ‘Bear’ we believe we can remedy the Draft affliction Chicago annually places on new players,” said John Winkowski, Chief of Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Despite such precautions, Williams claims he still wants to play for the quarterback-cursed franchise. In response, the Thoughts and Bears Foundation have purchased a small plot and headstone at the Soldier Field Cemetery for Williams reading, “2024 – 2027”
